What to Expect

Not only will you will find Rainbow, Brown, Cutthroat and Cutbows making their home in this beautiful, high mountain reservoir, you may also come across some monster Northern Pike, Kokanee Salmon, Yellow Perch and Carp. And these fish grow fast! There is so much vegetation in the water giving life to a passel of fresh water shrimp! Trout are known to get up over 30 inches while the Northern Pike can get beyond 45 inches!

And we aren’t just talking spring – fall fishing here. Eleven Mile ices over and plays host to numerous ice fishing tournaments throughout the winter. In fact, there at least one a month and the fishing during the winter months is awesome!

Beyond the Fish

If you aren’t all that in to fishing, Eleven Mile State Park offers many other attractions beyond trophy fishing. If you love to hike or bike, there are over 7,500 acres to play around in, with 5 miles of trails to quench your adventurous appetite.
