Crescent Ranch’s Week in Photos 6/2 – 6/8
We know some people don’t use social media platforms and we don’t want that small detail to cause anyone to miss what’s happening here at Crescent Ranch!
So, without further ado, here’s what happened last week at the Crescent Ranch!

Along with renovating the HCRR and finding all the weird stuff that had been done to this house long before we moved in – we are beginning testing recipes for the bed and breakfast! Sure, we can already cook and bake, but we are now around 9200 ft altitude which changes things!
So far we’ve experimented with:
🍴biscuits and gravy
🍴cinnamon roll pancakes with cream cheese frosting
🍴regular buttermilk pancakes
We have a long list of dishes to try, but we’d love for you to let us know what you’d like to have for breakfast if you spent the evening at a bed and breakfast in the mountains!

After about a week and a half of frustration and things not working like we’d hoped – it was time for some perspective! We got the Jeep out in the mud and were blessed with some amazing views this evening – so thankful!

We spent a few hours at the Teller County Clerk and Recorder in Cripple Creek, Colorado, in hopes of learning more about the true history of #hcrr – and boy did we.
After digging through record after record, we tracked down the original land patent between Silas Thompson and the United States of America all the way back in 1891!
Pretty cool stuff if you ask me! More fun history to come!
